DNA specializes in Environmental Project Planning, Environmental Resource Permitting (ERP’s) and Environmental Due Diligence. The DNA team has a combined 27+ years working in environmental consulting! Dr. Brent Nichols, Principal Scientist, has a Ph.D. in biology and has consulted in both Florida and Alabama for the past 12 years. Dr. Nichols is an expert marine/estuarine ecologist and a professional PADI/NAUI certified scuba diver. He has currently published research in five major scientific journals and has logged over 800 hours underwater. Mr. Jason Adams, Principal Ecologist, has a master’s degree in aquatic/marine ecology and has been an environmental consultant for the past 15 years in Florida and Alabama. Mr. Adams’ is a expert in the field of wetland’s ecology with a primary focus on wetlands mitigation, environmental permitting, regulatory agency negotiation, littoral shelf design, and wetland functional capacity.
